Sqaundered hope
Endless blight
Desires hid
Covered lies
Eternal guilt
Speechless spies
Confused start
Confused end
Confused heart
Confused head
Dark thoughts
Dark fights
Dark "ought"s
Dark "might"s
Embracing misery
Pulling down
Into endless chasms below
Searching for light
When it has only begun to storm
Raging waves of hopeless mind
Soul sucking caverns
Erase past time
Slate colored thoughts
Swirling aimlessly
Whispering sorrow into dusty corners
Unused creativity
Where has the sun gone?
Not even the moon's soft light glows here.

I wrote this when I was 14. I was starting to go through the emotional sinkhole that happens when you enter that undefined realm of "adolescence," and this was my attempt at sorting out what I was experiencing.
