Breaking Out of Solitude
I was home having played all my games, taking school online. My camera reflected a sad, pale, and lonely, yearning face. Then our family drove through the desert until the blue river showed its glistening face: breeze kissed our skin, the waves splashed, and then… The jetskis finally came out. Rough waves jolted us as we sliced through them. And then, the waves stretched out flat from the shore to smooth glass, and we glided over them like air. Tired muscles rested and our eyes strained to see the trees on the barren mountain. Then I looked at the water. It reflected me as I looked into it. What I saw was my face smiling and having the time of my life.
