Going to Culvers

I have always lived in Wisconsin but I had never been to a Culver’s until I was seven. My friends would always go on and on about how good the butter burgers and frozen custard are, then I went for the first time on my family's way to our vacation home in northern Wisconsin.

As we pulled into the parking lot, my senses were overwhelmed by the delectable smell of burgers and fries. I Couldn't wait to try it out and see what all the hype was about. When we walked into the store, we were greeted by friendly staff who welcomed us with a smile. “Hello welcome to Culver’s what can I get started for you.”

I finally divided what I wanted to order. “Can I get a 4 piece tender meal please?” We sat down and eagerly waited for our food to arrive. When it finally did, I took a bite out of one of the tenders and was blown away by the amazing taste. The chicken was juicy but the bread was crunchy. Perfectly mixed, not too much of one or the other.

As I savored every bite, I couldn't help but say “This is the best chicken I've ever had.” My family also enjoyed their meals, and they all agreed that culvers were exciting to hype. After finishing my meal, happy and satisfied I couldn't wait to come back and try other items on the menu. From that day on it became a tradition for my family to stop at Culver’s on the way up north to get a taste of the wonderful burgers and the even better custard.

Years later, even now I still remember that first visit to Culver’s. I still get excited every time I see one of their restaurants, and I always recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic Wisconsin experience. Culver’s isn't just a fast-food chain it's part of what makes Wisconsin so unique and unforgettable.  Thank you Culvers for making Wisconsin even better.
