The Reality of Anxiety
I anxiously walk into my math period for the first time, excited yet nervous to see the group of individuals there. I stand in the front, contemplating where to sit; more importantly, who to sit with. Looking around the room, I am met with many familiar faces; everyone had their group, that is everyone but me. I had never wanted assigned seating more in my life than I did at that moment. Confused on which group to pick and scared of intruding, I slowly walked towards the first row and took a seat, counting down the minutes until I could leave.
