Vibrant Flowers
Addison. Ann. Kowalewski. That is my full name. To me, these 3 names represent shades and casts of colors. Light blue. Lilac purple. Soft yellow. Pastel colors like these make me feel happy and content, reflecting my personality. These are my favorite color shades because I love the way they all blend together. Light blue: the color of the sky, light purple: the color of a tulip, or soft yellow: the color of a pastel easter egg.
The soft yellow represents my first name: Addison. The double D’s always sparked with a pastel yellow color when I wrote it down in kindergarten. I love the color yellow, it isn’t my favorite but I really like it. I would prefer something with an M or N because I always liked writing those in either print or cursive. I do really like my name because it is unique and my mom always liked it.
My middle name, Ann, is the color blue. After my grandma's middle name the light blue represents the ocean and beautiful sky. I don’t like my middle name as much because it’s short compared to my last name. I would prefer my sister's middle name over mine because hers is Elizabeth after my moms, mom. I do like double A’s for my initials, but I don’t like Ann as much as my moms, which is Marie. I always liked writing my initials “AAK” on the back of my math flashcards.
The lilac purple represents my last name: Kowalewski. I love typing my last name on my keyboard. All the letters are so close to each other which makes it interesting to type. I think of lilac purple because it reminds me of a field full of flowers. Kowalewski is a Polish name which reminds me of the national flower‒the Corn Poppy. Just thinking about a field of Corn poppy flowers filled with many pastel colors. Immediately thinking of my last name, Kowalewski because all the letters used, correlate with different colored flowers in a field in Poland. Each colored flower represents a different emotion or mood I have. Seeing lilac flowers, light blue daisies, and soft yellow tulips surrounding the field reminded me of my personality; happy, funny, and lucky. Dark blue flowers show sadness, dark red shows angry, neon yellow shows happiness, while magenta pink shows kindness. All these emotions correlate with me.
