Who would think that doing a sport in school would turn out to make someone a better person.  This is the case for so many people that went through a program for school.  They may not know it but a coach can have so much influence over an athlete's life as not only just a coach but an idol in their life, or also just a friend.

A student going out for a sport will spend a couple hours each day for months with their coach.  During this time there are relationships built and skills learned.  Each day an athlete is taught more about hard work and dedication by their coach through encouragement.  Throughout the entirety of the time that an athlete spends with their coach they will not just learn how to be a better athlete, they will also learn how to be a better person.

Sometimes for an athlete a coach can be a very important and influential person in their life.  Someone who they can look up to, or go to when they are in need of something.   A coach is someone who is there to give knowledge to the next generation of athletes, not only physically but also mentally.

Each and every day we are seeing what it takes to be a good athlete,  but some of these things can transfer very easily to everyday life.  One example of this is persistence.  To continue to move forward even when the challenge gets tough.  There are many more examples just like this that we can learn from a coach.  Coaches are like teachers of life.  So with each and everyday a coach is both teaching and reinforcing the ideals of what makes a good person.
