Eyes are puffy. These things we call tears take up my face, although my nose has got the upper lip covered. My head pounding, hands clamping, and heart saddening. Look over it again, re-do my steps. Flip the pages, look at the problem. Number by number, its ok. Resume with reading, I’m giving up. Ask mom; ask dad, big sister, big brother, is there a chance the little one will get it? Throw the book, rip up the pages. Step on them, fall to my knees. Lip quivering, palms sweaty with anger, my pulse is racing as my heart is shaking. Tears flooding my vision, forgotten how to breathe. The teacher is an idiot with no idea on how to teach. It’s over, she wins. Can’t believe it I’ve lost. Another battle gone. Didn’t get to fight, she never gave me the right. I’m done.
