Craving the Beach
I always wonder how long a beach really is. How many steps would it take to get from one end to the other? What would I pass by on my way? Who could I meet? How often would the weather change? How long would it take?
Why keep track?
I just want to grab my bag, fill it with some shorts and tees and every bathing suit I own and top it off with a big, bright towel. I’d sling it over my shoulder and rummage through cupboards until I found an empty glass jar to slowly fill with shells and sand. After slipping on my Converse and tying an extra pair of laces to my glass jar, I could take off for the beach.
That’s what I want to do.
How long would my beach really be? Just how many steps would it take me to get from one end to the other? What would I pass by on my way? Who could I meet? How often would the weather change? How long it would it take me?
Let’s find out.
