My Eraser
My eraser sat there on my desk, as if awaiting its turn to be used. I tried to erase those memories of when my favorite cat died or when that tragic news came of my Aunt's death, but my eraser stayed intact. My mind just doesn't work that way, I thought, but I knew better. No body's mind can ever erase the sadness that this world has inflicted upon everyone. Murderers, natural disasters, and diseases roam the Earth looking for victims to suck into there evil schemes. No eraser is big enough to erase all the mess that the Devil has made. Luckily, there are two parts to a pencil. At the other end of the eraser, there's lead. Make your mark on history.

"Make your mark on history." That's a great line. You might like to check out a non-fiction article of mine called, "Words From a Burning Heart." It's about our generation's mark on history, in a way.
This is a good piece.
