Safety and fear.
Your sitting across me, assessing me. I can see it out of the corner of my eye, the look in your eyes. The thirst, the hunger, the want. Its a look I know all too well. Your a predator, hungry for innocence. Ready to rip it form me, like a band aid form a wound. Truth is Ive been through it all before. I'll keep you away. But even with the confidence of knowing I can keep myself safe from you, I can't help but feel my gut clench. My jaw tighten. My palms sweat. My skin go's cold; chills run up my spine. The horror in my eyes will never leave. But what you don't know? Your not the first. There's no innocence to take. The band aid's already been removed.
