My Best Day Ever Was ...
My best day ever was on April 20, 2007. It was when my baby brother Aubrey was born.
It was the first time I had ever seen him, or been there for the birth of my siblings’ birth. It was the first time I had ever held him. I remember my step mom saying “if you drop him, I’ll kill you.” I thought to myself
"I’m not going to drop a new born baby. He’s my little brother, if I didn’t feel safe doing it, I wouldn’t have done it. And it’s not like I’ve never held a baby before."
I remember my dad coming into my room waking me up telling me I have a new baby brother coming. I was so confused. And wicked tired. I didn’t know what he meant , or if he was just being a jerk and waking me up at like 6 in the morning, during summer. I thought to myself “ugh I hate when he does this to me, who do I have to be awake right now” All I wanted to do was sleep.
