Truth Be Told
Once upon a time, there was a girl, and that's it. She wasn't incredibly smart or drop-dead gorgeous; she was just a girl. And like any other girl, she fell inlove..hard. It didn't help much that he wasn't what her mother wanted, but this couldn't change her mind.
So she went on for months, loving and caring about a boy who said he loved her back. But soon, doubts settled into her head, and she swore she wouldn't get hurt, so she pulled back, hoping not to let him get wounded in the process. Turns out, she was still crushing herself.
It took a long time to get him arm's length away, though it did little to to adjust her constant feelings. She finally couldn't take it anymore, and just completely relinquished control of her heart to God.
It's still painful, but all she wants is for her him to find real happiness and see God's plan for him.
This is my story. ?
