The Ocean
To most people the ocean is just a normal place used for entertainment. However, to me it’s much more than entertainment, but my life. Being in the ocean makes me feel free, not worrying about anything but the next wave rolling into shore. The feeling of the saltwater flowing across my body brings me to peace. As a guest in the ocean, it brings harmful risks that could happen anytime. However, catching a wave outweighs the risks 1,000 to 1. Catching a good wave is the best feeling I could possibly ask for. The feeling of walking on water amazes me every time. In the ocean the waves change every minute of every year. The tides change every handful of hours creating different waves and shallower sandbars.
Due to where I live, I visit the ocean many times. Every time my friends and I visit the beach we always have a fun time and want to come back. No matter the size of the waves the beach is always enjoyable. I am lucky to live in such a nice place and hopefully will continue to live in the beautiful city of Ormond Beach.
