My Aspiration in Writing

Since I entered the realm of the educational process, I have already my most favorite subject - Mathematics. And since I'm just a Grade I pupil, I still do not know the need to concentrate on all the subject areas as just like a child who does what he is wanting to do. This practice persisted until I graduated from rudimentary level and even pending my second year high school life.

On my high school life, I've been awarded to grab the first and second place. When I was just the second placer, I've pondered deeply what have I dispensed with, the reason of landing on top 2 only. When I observed my rival in ranking the next grading period, I noticed that she focused on all the subject areas. She is intelligent in every subject not because she wants them all. In fact, she detests Math. Regardless of this loathing, she is trying to love and understand the lessons. Whereas me, I did not even try to pay attention to one of my most difficult subjects - English - especially writing. So, I am uplifted to focus not only in English but also to other subjects, until I proceed to my third year high school life.

Once, our school conducted a School-Based Press Conference. I went to Editorial Writing, mulling over the encouragement of our school paper adviser that if I will be a Regional qualifier for the Editorial Writing, she vows that she will choose me as the Editor-In-Chief of our school publication. After the event concluded, the result was finalized. Unfortunately, I reaped the second place. This meant that I won't already be able to join for the Division Press-Con, which is a further signification that I can't be the E-I-C for I'm not a qualifier of the Regional Press-Con. However, because the champion in School-Based Editorial Writing opted to join for the Sports Writing instead, I came to be joining the Division Level for the first time. And before the Division contest, our school paper adviser again had encouraged me from her statement, "If you will be a Regional contender, you will be the E-I-C. And if you'll be selected as our Publishing Manager, you will be given 8 points for your extra-curricular.” This intensified my thrust to do good in the contest. I successfully bagged the second place in the Division Level.

My desire in writing gradually increases as I won in the contest and a qualifier of the Regional Press-Con. This I realized that focusing on what you loathe for before would force you to have desire with it today. I realized that just trying to love it will conform to what you like to happen. For instance, if you do exert efforts to showcase that you are trying to love writing, this will guarantee your ideal of winning in a specific contention.
