First Time on the Beach

Sitting on my pillow soft beach towel I can see children building sand castles as quick as they can before the next wave comes each child’s heart racing to get the finishing touches on their creation. The sound of the ocean breeze pounding against my ear drums as my salty smelling hair flows in the air with each drift of wind that passes me. The breath taking scene in front of me seems to fade as the sky darkens into a gloomy disappearance.
