Depression Is Not The End of Your Life
When you gather information about yourself you sometimes forget yourself or others around you. You let yourself believe nobody is on your side, you forget that there are others like you. You feel alone. I felt alone. Here's my story and hopefully it helps. If not well..thanks for taking the time to read it.
Chapter 1: Hallways And Life Sometimes you walk down a path, hallway or something. Maybe you enter into a room who knows. But that way in that instant is all you look forward to. I’ve had this feeling a lot. Like maybe that hallway was the last thing you were going to see…no one would ever know. Only you know. Only you know how you truly feel. And that’s where you have to ask yourself…do I keep at it like this? Or do I let everything go away? Do you keep walking, talking, breathing and being alive? Or do you throw it all away?
People always ask, “How’s life?” Well you can’t exactly tell them how you really feel. You’d lose too much if you did so. If you tell people how you really feel they’d either think you’re insane or tell you that you’re a strong person and that if you ended you life you be selfish because you don’t realize what it would do to them. Well you know what that’s bullshit. People pity other people so much. Most people will say anything to make the other feel better either about themselves or the situation they’ve just been put into. But do you really like to hear about how much you being gone would affect the other person? In my personal opinion this view sucks. I hate when I tell someone my problems and they turn it on themselves. Or they say how other people have it worst. How the f*** could someone that wants to live and feels alive possibly have it worst than someone who wants to die and is waiting for the opportunity? When life gets tough some people resort to feeling like they are nothing. They resort to feel nothing. Nothing matters in those moments any more. Not even life. Trust me I’ve been there and done that. When people ask me how I am or how I feel…they don’t want the truth. They don’t want to have to deal with your problems on top of their “over-godly problems.” I mean everyone thinks the world revolves around them don’t they? News flash it doesn’t. Actually the Earth revolves around the sun. And the sun is extremely hot. Another news flash…no matter how hot you think you are, you’re definitely not as hot as the sun. Unfortunately no one is. So get over yourself. Stop focusing on yourself. You can take a moment out of your “busy” schedule to actually listen to how someone actually feels. Whether it’s your job or not. People need help and they need support sometimes. If you can’t show that how can you expect other people too? You never know, you could be someone’s last hope. You could save someone’s life just by talking to them. Just by taking interest in what they are saying even if you honestly could care less. Just show it.
Some personalities were added so you know you're really not alone in this bizarre place.
