My Ocean
My bedroom is an escape.
A refuge.
A memory.
A dreamland.
My room is the ocean.
OK, so technically it’s ocean themed. The walls are turquoise, my bedspread is coral, and my pillow is peach. I have a window-seat facing west, towards the California beaches I miss so much. Sometimes I wish the seat could just grow wings and fly far, far away to the sea with me on it.
I love my room because it reminds me of the sea I miss so much, and I can find refuge there. I can escape.
