“Life is either a great adventure or nothing”, by Helen Keller. In 2008 I had to face my greatest fear when my Dad planned a trip for us. It seemed like a fun-filled adventure full of rock climbing and cliff diving ,but my fears quickly were getting the best of me. Much like Helen Keller overcame the obstacle of not being able to communicate, I too overcame my obstacle of being afraid of heights.

How Helen Keller overcame her obstacle. First, at the age of two she  became blind and deaf and didn’t know what was happening . Then they had to  convince helen’s dad to call the  institute were Annie came to work  and teach her. But  Annie had to  earn Helens trust before she could start teaching her. She had to teach her how to obey,  and the hardest one of all how to  communicate. I  had to overcome  my  obstacle  like Helen did.
Like Helen Keller, I also had to overcome an  obstacle, my fear of heights. It started When I was  little I fell  from a tree and  since then  I was scared of heights. until about nine years old. How I overcame  my   obstacle. My Dad and I went  cliff jumping, and the  cliff was about 100,000  stories high so  I went to the top and  just  jumped and about two minutes later  I hit the water and  I  overcame my  obstacle.
Although our obstacles were different we share similarities, too. First, we both struggled with our  obstacles. Also, We both  accomplished our  obstacles in the end. That is two  similarities helen keller and I share.
Both helen keller and  I made it  through tough times. I learned from helen keller that  life isnt  as hard as it seems. I  learned that  heights are not that bad and  I like  them now. “life is  either a  great adventure or  nothing"
