One Above All
Everyone has those endless nights where they can't find a good show or movie to watch. But that time has come to an end things like Netflix, Hulu and others have made those long night quick and you find yourself watching episode after episode of a show for me that was the Blacklist. When I started to watch it, I was bored out of my mind just desperate to watch something and now I am desperate to walk away from the tv. I can’t stop watching it I love it so much. There are great actors and actresses, and the plot of it is so intriguing. It makes you wonder what it would be like if that was real; being someone who is involved in those acts of violence, justice, and revenge.
The actors and actresses are unbelievable they do it so well and if you go on Youtube and watch a clip from behind the scenes you think that it is a completely different person. The main actor James Spader who is “Red” in the show who portrays a fugitive and former government agent just won an award from the Golden Globes for his role as Red Reddington. Also the way it is directed can only be described as flawless. every scene look to good to be true. Some of the explosions and pop outs are unpredictable all the sudden the scene goes for calm to chaotic. The only bad thing is how each show ends. The way is end is downright cruel, they finish the show with a cliffhanger that will make you start counting the minutes till the next episode airs.
Lastly is that the show makes it seem so real that it gets you wondering what it would be like to actually be there. Having your life be like Liz who is (what I would say the second main character) the only person Red will talk to in confidence and who works for a government agency that no one knows where it is but the team that works there. Having to wake up every morning knowing that you could die, knowing that today you will hunt down a fugitive that has broken out of prisons, killed innocent lives for no reason, and has been wanted since he was a teenager. Also from seeing the show you see some things differently. You see the world at a different angle you become more aware of your surrounding.
Now, Hopefully you see why I love this show so much. There is suspense, mystery, and every other scene is intense. Once you start watching it you will need a crane to get you away from the tv it is that intriguing.
