ADHD, when you have it it, it feels like a curse, but if you learn how to work with it, it may actually be your little inspiration. I myself have ADHD, that stands for Attention Dephicit Hyperactivity Disorder, some people may say it is a curse and I have thought that too, but I have learned how to cope with it and be it's friend, not it's enemy. Instead of fighting against it, which you sometimes have to do whether it is school or somewhere in which you must have full focus, you can just go with it naturally. Ussually when I do this I get the most intriguing idea. Sometimes the idea can be a topic for a new blog post and other times it can be bigger such as an invention. But what really matters is that you don't ignore those little ideas that pop up here and there around your head, because it may never come back to you. And you never know it just might be a gamechanger of an idea for you or the whole world even! But no matter what your passion is, even if you don't have ADHD, just do what you love and do it with confidence and an open mind! Because you never know, you could possibly have the next big invention, be the next big writer or poet of our time!

The author's comments:

I wrote this so people would know that they can acomplish outsanding things, but all they need to do is stop and write down all of the ideas that are flowing through their head because you never really know what you can invent or write until you put your mind to it!

I understand what that feels like (I don't think I have ADHD but I experience that stuff sometimes)

Thank you! Finally I get to read something about someone who has actually experienced ADHD, its quirks, and it's not so pretty side affects I'm not saying that I want you to have ADHD, but having a disability can change your life in many ways, big and small, and can also grant you unexpected friendships along the way. Thanks:)

Matty, I am honored you sent me this article you wrote. You were very thoughtful and it was very interesting. I especially liked "just do what you love to do with an open mind" I kinda think that's what you came with when you created that terrific box in my studio!

Matty I honestly had no idea you had ADHD when we met - I just thought you had a quick and interesting mind and were cool ! Now I am even more impressed to find out you are also a really good writer......and probably inventor too !! From Helen & her pack x

This was such a refreshing piece. I know so many youth and adults with ADHD. The suggestion by the author of the gifts he has received from owning his ADD and using it to create is inspiring. Thank you for sharing. I will this insight with others.

This is a great topic . So many people have ADHD that could benefit from this article. I would like this to be the beginning of an on going exploration by this author on the specifics of both the negatives and positives of this condition
