Iguazu Falls
I take a deep breath before I go to enter this enormous park, remind myself that this is a place that so many people want to see, and I walk in. As I walk in, I hear birds chirping, water flowing, and people talking. All different languages running through the chilly breeze. As I continue down a pathway, I see colorful butterflies surrounding me in all different places, but still no water to be seen. I ask myself, “When does the dream of seeing the falls become a reality?” So, I continue down the pathway were I see many people starting to take pictures. Finally there is a small view of the falls just behind some trees. I can slightly hear the water hitting the bottom of the falls, but there is still some part of me that doesn’t want to believe I am actually there.
I continue down the path to soon reach a turning point where all you can see is a rainbow lying over the falls, you hear water hitting the bottom of the falls, and in just that moment, I realized that the dream had become a reality. After you see the first part of the falls, you feel like you are on cloud 9, but you must keep walking. As I continue down the path close to the flowing water, I climb up some slippery rocks to get to another pathway that eventually leads you to the view of the top.
After about 30 minutes of walking, I came to a narrow bridge that I had to walk over to get to the view of the top of the falls. As I walk through the bridge, I see butterflies of all different colors flying through the sky. I see colorful birds sitting on the tree branches.
I come to the end of the bridge, and close my eyes. I feel the bridge slightly shaking as the water pours into the bottom of the falls. I see the ball of fog coming off of the falls as the water rapidly falls to the bottom, and I realize that this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
