There are many skills to which one can master. Rather it be learning to speak a new language, riding a bike, or speed reading. Those who conquer the ability to perform such talents, may end up doing marvelous tasks. These are the heroes of today. Although I wish I could say I was a hero of such tasks, I am merely a peasant waiting to be noticed by the royal king. My skill happens to be thrown aside by the people, as if it is a waste of time. Though, I know someday my talent will be of great use to this world. What is this prodigious gift one might ask? I hold the power to binge watch Netflix.
For it wasn’t long ago that this incredible gift was placed upon me. It was a tradition morning, the sun awoke, birds harmonized, a feeling of content bounced around the world. The penitentiary which they call school had been canceled for the day. There was an abundance of distinct opportunities the day held. Yet, for I there remained a sole accomplishment to reach. Quickly grabbing the astounding device, the remote, I prepared myself for the journey about to take place. For that moment I was like a Knight, excited to slay the dragon which halted me from reaching my destiny. Fear struck through my body, nevertheless the time for turning away had gone passed. 
Immediately a suitable series exploded outward into my view. “Heros,”  grasped my attention, as if I were a fish that fell for the bait. Installing myself onto the cozy object I claim as my bed, I had spent days upon days full attention towards the screen. Gradually the time came for me to shift onto a new achievement.
          Millions of people come to see this as the talent of the lazy. Though this is not always true. Imagine the possibility of what to be learned through the television. Imagine the feeling of taking adventures, going to places you could never explore in the real world.
Binge watching netflix is seen as a misuse of treasured time. However, this fascinating gift allows for the imagination to flow. A simple story played out can make the heart hammer against a chest, bruising every muscle in the way. Specific characters draw emotions from your soul, yanking you into the story. These small details demonstrate why my wonderful talent, is not a waste, but a marvelous gift I would never return.
