The world was spinning and within the flash of my eyes I was on the ground. I moaned in pain for help but it was as if god had came and scooped everyone up. Everything crossed my mind at that moment; I was in shock . On a windy Saturday evening was when this event occurred. The sun seemed as if it was in my reach. It was a beautiful weather through out the day but no matter how bright it was outside there was not enough light to illuminate the darkness I felt.

I got my as mom rushed out the front door, the only words that came out of her mouth were “I’ll be back.” With no explanations she got in the car and left. I was to entertained with my bike to even question her.

I got prepared to ride my bike. It was such a beautiful day to just stay inside all evening so I decided to go for a ride around the block. I felt the fresh breeze blowing in my face. I closed my eyes for only a couple of seconds to enjoy the weather but as I was opening my eyes I saw a huge brick in front of me. I knew I didn’t have great eyesight but I did have good instincts and my instincts told me I was in great trouble. I put in much effort to stop my bike but It was to late.

There I was, thrown on the road. I knew I had to get up before my mom arrived back at the house which didn’t give me much time. As much as I was in pain I got up and slowly limped inside my house I quickly rinsed all my wounds and after relaxed in my bedroom.

I was responsible for myself at that moment. I took matter in my own hands by solving my problem. I’m glad I knew how to handle the situation instead of panicking.
