M&M Disaster
I traveled with my family to Las Vegas to visit all the attractions there. We first visited the M&M factory, which looked REALLY cool. I pulled the trigger-like object on an M&M dispenser that caught my attention, but I pulled it too much. This caused the dispenser to blast M&M’s everywhere. I kicked all the M&M’s that fell on the floor underneath a nearby shelf (about 50-75 M&M‘s fell on the floor). Luckily for me, there were no employees around me to kick me out of the factory. Another shopper saw me spill all the M&M’s, raised her eyebrows then silently turned away, smirking.
I first made a grab for a white colored M&M that had not fallen on the floor. I quickly stuffed it into my mouth, praying that the lady or anyone else didn’t see me. Fortunately and unfortunately, no one had seen me. After less than one second of chewing, I quickly spat it into some clothing that the factory was selling.
I quickly hid the contaminated clothing beneath the stack of clothes before anyone saw what I did. I dashed up the stairs to reach the top floor where my parents were. Heart pounding, I hid in the corner of the room. I sat on the floor, gasping for air, as I thought about what I had just did. There was a strange feeling inside of me, telling me that I would regret doing that.
At last, it was time for dinner. I walked with my family out of the factory, feeling guilty. We finally decided to go to Denny’s Restaurant for dinner. When we were seated and already started eating, I thought the food tasted quite good. While I was eating, I suddenly felt a lurch in my stomach, nearly causing me to double over. My dad switched my already used plate with a new one, and I heard a gurgling sound coming from me.
In shock, I opened my mouth and vomited right into the new plate. My family was just sitting there staring at me, dumbstruck. My mom grimaced and groaned, and quickly dragged me out of the restaurant and into the car. On the road, I started to feel worried about vomiting at Denny’s. Would they charge my family extra money? Or would Denny’s call the cops? Before I had a chance to finish my thoughts, my mom and I were already at the hotel entrance, though I was very surprised she did not get a speeding ticket. My mom then brought me up to our hotel room in a flash. When I was lying down in the bed, I thought I heard a voice in my head saying,
It was then when I realized that maybe the M&M factory had an evil spirit that goes into a person that is doing something bad. I then concluded that the M&M evil spirit had entered me when I spilled and spat M&M’s, which caused me to vomit (though my dad claimed that I just had stomach flu). Before, I had thought that I would regret spitting the M&M’s into the clothing, and the soon after, I actually did regret doing that.
