Environmental pollution can be defined as undesirable state of the natural environment being contaminated with harmful substances as a consequence of human activities. There are few types of pollution such as air pollution, land pollution, water pollution and visual pollution. These pollutions can harm people in the world especially on health.

There are few sources and causes of environmental pollution. One of the causes is industrial activities. The improper disposal of industrial wastes is the sources of soil and water pollution. Other causes are the some from the vehicles and population overgrowth. The smoke emitted by vehicles using petrol and the cooking coal also pollutes the environment.  Further, the sounds produced by these vehicles produce causes noise-pollution. Other than that, rapid urbanization and industrialization is also one of the causes.  Those can harm the plant life, which is the animal kingdom and the human lives.

Pollution can bring effect to the environment.  Environmental pollution has negatively affected the life of both human-beings and animals. Even our flora and fauna were found to be threatened with extinction. These pollution issues bring negative impact to the human beings especially on their health. Besides causing immense disturbances, there are increasing case of pulmonary tuberculosis and thrombosis and various sorts of brain and heart complications. Air-pollution may cause severe lungs-diseases, asthma and brain-disorder diseases. Noise-pollution has negative effects on hearing or auditory sense organs. It can also cause deafness, tiredness, and mental losses.

There are few solutions to solve this problem. The Government can at least see that future factories are set up at a distant place, an industrial complex far away from the township. Besides that, researcher may find out how to avoid harmful smoke from running vehicles. Deforestation should be stopped and Forestry should be developed. Other than that, discharge of factory wastes in rivers should be banned so as to make the river-water free from pollution.

It is very important for us to get rid pollution problem because it can harm our generations.  Clean and healthy environment is very important especially for human being to live and survive in this world.
