Imagine yourself in a forest with no help. How would you feel to be lost in this urge forest, with nobody to help you? When you scream and nobody can hear you. You are lost in the darkness of the forest and you can’t find your way home. Everything you encounter is an obstacle and challenge. You have no control over your life. You have no control over your happiness or sadness. That's how I feel about life. When I see people in need like the children suffering of famine, I feel like life is a prison to the human being.

Throughout my life I felt the support of my family members. I’m usually happy. When I was little, I never saw the other side of life. I always thought that everybody is happy and life is all about happiness. I used to think that people decided to not be happy because everything in life for me was beautiful and enjoyable. When I started to learn about people with disabilities and people suffering of famine, I started to realize that not everything in life is what I used to think of. I understood that we do not have control over what we encounter in life.

When I think about the children suffering of famine, I realize that they do not have what they want in life. Nobody will want to suffer of hunger in life. Those children are not able to get food to eat while we eat and throw the rest of our food. It is like they are in the darkness and there is nobody in the society to help them. They are so hungry that there are no tears coming from their eyes anymore. They have no voice to scream for the world to help them. They do not have any control over what life brought to them. It breaks my heart to see that some are dying in need of food and some are throwing the rest of their food. We can see that life is a prison to us. You do not need to do something bad to be in this prison.

I feel like life is a prison to everybody. Whether you are happy or sad. Whether you are healthy or sick. Whether  you are disabled or able. We all in a prison even though we did not do any bad. When you think about your life, you will see that you did not decide over your condition. Nobody decided to be born disabled or able. We are born to be in this prison and it depends on how we make each other feel about this life. We can change the point of view of the unfortunate about life. We can all make a difference in the life of people suffering of famine by just giving what we don’t need. It all starts with a small step. In order for me to feel out of the prison is to make a difference in the lives of people in need. One of my goals is to help children suffering of famine so that life will be  free for me.
