Black Diamond Trail MAG
I walked out of the ski lodge
Into the brisk December breeze
Clouds passed by the mountain peak
As I stepped into my skis
I hopped onto the chairlift
That brought me soaring through the sky
The scenery was awesome
The mountains were so high
The slope that was before me
Was the tough Black Diamond Trail
The challenge was to conquer it
I knew I mustn't fail
I started down the icy slope
And quickly picked up speed
The moguls sent me flying
So my poles I didn't need
Fear built up inside me
I looked down with such a fright
But relief soon overcame me
As the bottom was in sight
Finally, I made it
Safe in the lodge, and then ...
A thought popped up so clearly
Hey! I think I'll go again
