Badgers Upset Buckeyes
The Wisconsin Badgers hosted the Ohio State Buckeyes in a Big Ten Conference game at the Kohl Center on Thursday, December 31. The Buckeyes were the 15th ranked team in the nation coming into the game.
The Badgers fought hard from start to finish and dominated the game. The final score was Wisconsin 65, Ohio State 43 the Badgers walked away with a conference win and the upset.
Junior forward Jon scored 11 points and pulled down 5 rebounds and senior guard Trevon scored 16 points and had7 rebounds. Off the bench, sophomore guard Jordan scored 12 points.
The Badgers not only outscored their opponents but also had 37 rebounds to the Buckeyes 25 and shot 47% from the field and 48% from 3-point range. Ohio State shot 33% from the field and 31% from 3-point range.
The Badgers next game is against the fourth ranked Purdue Boilermakers at the Kohl Center at 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 9.
