Baseball
“It was the champion ship game, Redhawks vs. Texas Rangers.” said the announcer. We were the away team, because we were the lower seed. That means we will hit first.
We scored 2 points in the first inning. On defense Conner was pitching. He pitched the whole time until the last inning. In the last inning we are on defense, there are no outs, bases are loaded, and we are winning by 2. So the coaches took Conner out of the game and put me in. I was nervous the first batter came up to the plate. “Strike 1! Strike 2! Strike3!” said the umpire. The second batter came up to the batter’s box. POW! He hit it to right field. The score is 2 to 2 now. Next batter, I struck him out. The last batter was up it was either he gets out or they win. “Strike 1! Ping!” he hit it to right field on a line.
