It all started at the starting gates. I was having butterflies in my stomach. The 30 second board goes up then the 10. We’re off the gates. I got the hole shot and missed the first turn. I got back on the track and I was in third. I passed a guy and I’m going for first. I go into the corner and crashed. I suddenly popped back on my bike and caught back up to first and second. I passed first and second and I lead every lay after I passed them. I won the race!
