Braxton Miller, Ohio State Quarterback, Out For the Season!
Braxton Miller, Ohio State quarterback, out for the season!
Braxton Miller injured his right shoulder at practice after throwing a short pass on Monday, August 18. He then got a MRI on his shoulder in the morning, and Ohio State confirmed later that day that the injury would end his season.
JT Barrett, number 16, then took place for Braxton Miller. Miller threw for 2,094 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran for 12 more scores in leading the Buckeyes to the Discover Orange Bowl last season. Ranked fifth in the pre-season Associated Press poll released Sunday, Ohio State is expected to be in the national title conversation.
In conclusion, Braxton Miller will no longer be permissible to play college football but, Meyer says, "He's a great kid who's an extreme competitor. ... He will play in the NFL, there's no doubt in my mind." Considering that quote, Barrett has big shoes to fill going in for a Miller.
