Football with Autism
In Utah, there's a high school football team. On that team, there is a boy with autism and he's number one. One night in a blowout, the coach decided to send him in. He told the other coach to let him run and act like the guys were really trying to tackle him. The fans knew what was about to happen and fell silent. Coach told him what to do and he ran onto the field saying,"Football! Football!" At the snap, he took the ball and ran his hardest, jumping and spinning, into the endzone. The crowd went into a frenzy. He was a hero. I am now inspired to remember, we are all alike.
