My sports
In my seventeen years on playing football, It has had a positive impact on my day to day life. Being a student athlete is something that is not respected as much as it should be. I dont think people understand just how hard being a student athlete is. Waking up every morning, going to school all day, when most people are done for the day you have to go to a two hour practice, you then go home after practice and have to do any homework that you need to get done for the next day.
You have very little time for yourself during the football season. It is a mental grind for sure. But to me it is worth it because of my love for the game. Nothing about the football season is easy. But if you have love and passion for the game than that is all you need to push motivate yourself through the hard times.
