The Underground Railroad
Summary:
Beatrice lives on the James Hall Plantation along with a lot of other slaves. But when the James Plantation and the David Plantation trade slaves, Beatrice happens to be one of them.
When she has lived in the David Plantation for a while, she gets sick of being a slave and decides to run away using the Underground Railroad. Along the way, she meets a lot of new friends, along with some old enemies. But when she finally get into Canada, she is safe. Or is she?
After trying to make a living in Canada by cleaning houses, she meets up with someone that she had hoped she would never see again, and he is trying to bring her back! Desperate to be free of him, Beatrice embarks on another adventure to be free once and for all.
