The Fruits of Labor
Summary:
The Fruits of Labor is a short story about wizard students Aaron Ironcrest and Trivasta Dufont. Good friends will different philosophies, they both share a love for magic and study at the most prestigious wizards university. Most days are packed with mountains of bookwork on arcane theory and history, but today's agenda includes some actual mountains. When the duo join a tour to explore the ancient ruins of Morthos, they are presented with a guided path and the closed off entrances to forbidden areas. Trivasta's tiefling mischeviousness gets the better of her as she tries to sway Aaron into exploring these forbidden areas. Aaron, while a dear friend, does not have a death wish and chooses to stay along the path. But will Trivasta find a way to persuade him?
