The Streams of Identity
Summary:
Elliot Marson, or Ellie for short, is not a wizard. He is the child of two wizards, and an orphan living with a nonmagical family in a village called Monorilia. He resents his magcial abilities, especially his accidental outbursts of magic that come with strong emotions. After one of these outbursts get him kicked out of his house, he embarks on a journey to find Ferodi Falls, a waterfall that is rumored to take or give away magic, accompanied by a dwarf with a prosthetic leg named Zo. During this quest, Ellie experiences a new world outside Monorilia and finds his perspective on everything he thought he knew changed.
