After the most hectic election perhaps in U.S. history, people and democrats especially, have still not asked the simple question. Why did we elect Donald Trump as President of the United States? Radicals will say, "It's all of the white supremacists and neo Nazis!" but we all know that isn't true. They barely make up any of our population. Some people will aliante Trump supporters as stupid people, and that will make them vote him in again. As Tucker Carlson has put it many times "Nothing against Trump, but I mean, a happy country would not elect." The fact is that the middle class and normal people of America felt forgetten. With technology getting better, they get forced out of the labor market. They then have elitists telling them all of these promises that things well get better but nothing happens. One of the odd appeals of Donald Trump is that he is NOT part of the middle class. He is a rich billionare. But at the same time he cultivated all of these middle class people to vote for him. The appeal of Trump was that he called out the corrupt politicians in Washington and their motives. Power. He said and spoke the way normal people had felt for years. So they threw a bombshell.  Let's elect someone who we feel cares about us and our opinions and who calls out the broken system in Washington. The second reason he was elected was what I said before. The constant belittering of his supporters. I have a first class example of it. At my school, I had a hispanic friend who was an open Trump supporter. He got bullied a lot. How could you as a Mexican person vote for him? People even started hating him as a person for it. I always said as a die hard Hillary suppporter (not so much anymore) that I respected his opinion and would love to discuss why he thought Trump should be president. Now imagine if someone is polling you as a Trump Supporter and they ask you who you are voting for. If people learned you were voting for Trump, you'd be exciled away immediately. Vanished from your friend group and would become socially isolated. So of course people didn't admit that they were voting for him on those polls. So when the polls came in, it looked like Hillary was taking names. But of course, the silent majority would prove otherwise. To wrap up this article, even democrats didn't want Hillary. The major reason people voted for Trump was that he wasn't a mainstream politician and Hillary was exactly that. The DNC had gone as far to rig their own elections for her. They couldn't tell that the American people didn't want her. She wasn't relateable, she had broken the law many times, and she often felt robotic, repeating the lines being fed from a bigger group. Her influencers. So for democrats to win next elections, don't write off Trump supporters as bigots and racists. Actually take their concerns seriously just like any persons views. Show the real kind of compassion which is addressing the problems that hurt every day americans and how to solve them. But if we continue down this path of outrage over tweets the President rights, pointless Russia investigations and the overall supression of speech, you will have another 4 years of Trump in office. And I am no Trump hater, I like how well the economy has been doing as of late and our relations with North Korea, but I think as Americans, supporters of Trump or non supporters, we know we can do better. And we will.

I don't offer many if at all articles are evidence about this. I just wrote this article as an observer and normal news watcher.
