Untitled
And life called to me, as I turn the other way,
"You'll never get out alive, for I control this game.
You try to survive, but I compromise,
every which way, you try to escape."
Then I turned to this voice, and looked right in his eye,
"you don't scare me, I'm ready to die.
I'll be off to war soon, so do what you can,
I'll kill for my freedom, and never fear man.
The one that I fear is the one we call God."
Then I sat down, to hear his response.
Life closed his eyes, his thoughts were so deep,
then he looked at me, ready to speak.
"Now how can this kid, who's still proud and so young,
know what it takes, to fire a gun?
Battles are vicious, think of this no more.
Life is to precious to spend it in war."
To be a soldier, is evil t some,
but they fight for the people, within their nation.
Those asinine dreams, of a world filled with joy,
will never come true, while soldiers deploy.
Difference aside, just let me say,
the night on our side, is the other half's day.
