Dear Mr. President,

I noticed as part of your campaign in this last election, you talked a lot about education and how we need to improve it and treat our teachers better. I couldn't agree more. They do so much for us as students and don't receive the credit that they deserve. Below are three topics that I think are the most important for you to contuine to address along your second term as the President of the United States of America.

First off, I think we need to reward our teachers for all their hard work. Having two parents as teachers, I know what they go through on a day to day basis. My dad is a high school math teacher, he leaves the house at 6:15am, and comes home at the earliest of 6:30pm. That's over a 12 hour day at the minimum. He coaches football, weightlifting, track, and summer school all summer just to try to make ends meet. ProCon.org also agrees that we need to do more for our teachers. They said, "There are lots of teachers out there that do their job day to day that deserve better." I completely agree.

The second thing I think we need to do, is give non-US students a chance to get a quality education, while they are working hard for their US citizenship. You, Mr. Obama, said to Education Week- Politics K-12, " Everybody deserves to get a great education." You hit the nail on the head when you said that. We all deserve to make something of ourselves along this crazy journey we call "life" regardless of where we come from. I think you need to continue to work on and address this issue and help everyone get the education they deserve. We are all equals.

The last thing I think we need your help on is the cost of college tuition. Like said before, having two parents as teachers, we aren't exactly raking in the money, especially since we live in Wisconsin. However, I still have my goals and career aspirations. But, to achieve my dreams the only way it could possibly become possible is if I go to college in New York City, and we both know that's not the cheapest city in the US. How am I supposed to pay for the tuition with the little help my parents can giving me, my part time job, and still going to school? My parents can only help so much and are just making it with out me adding this to their plate. If you can't work on the cost of tuition at least look at the financial aid situation. My family unfortunately just makes enough money not to qualify for any of it.

I hope you will look at the points I have maid. I'm not asking to win this, even though that would be pretty awesome, I'm just asking you to try and help out the teachers and us future college studetns. Congratulations on your re-ellection and I wish you nothing of the best.
