Literary Canon
Dear Literary Canon Board of Directors, I think The Outsiders by, S.E. Hinton should be included in classics because it teaches us about friendship.
I am writing this letter because I would like the book i chose to be a classic and literary canon. The reason i want it to be a classic is because it teaches us about all the qualities of friendship. Another reason is because it can also teach you about everyday life.
The first reason I believe should be included in the literary canon is. My main reason i want this in the canon is because its read by many people in school and should be read by many others.
The second reason is I really enjoyed this book, and its also a great book to learn from. It was recommended for me to read by a teacher.
As you can see, The Outsiders is deserving of the literary canon. I believe this book should be used in the canon because its a classic in my opinion.
I hope that you will consider this choice for the literary canon. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
logananna
