I woke up today, not for the purpose of school or to hear about how the world is crumbling at the base. Nor did I wake up today to hear about how there are white men killing black men. How the president is screwing up our government. I woke up today to prove I can live with out the fear of not giving up on life. I woke uptoday to prove to people even after my father died I can still get up everyday and smile. To show everyone I am still strong and not broken down by the wounds my father and myself have created on my own body and soul. It is true I have to live in a world of hurt and pain, but don't we all?. In fact, most of us have a bigger challenge to face in life other than death. We have to face broken homes, divorced parents, and hunger. Not everyone has the abilities to live such a great life as others. Is it hard for others? or harder for some people unlike ourselves?. Are we taking all of what we have and or have had to vantage?. I know I do, on a daily basis.. I move out soon, this summer at the age of 16. I go adn live my life for the government cause as soon as im 17 this year i sign that dotted line for the marines. I feel as I over look things. We should cherish our lives and people in our lives a lot more than we do.Is there a way to fix all of this?, yes focus on loved ones and family more.
