I'm Not Sorry

I’m not perfect and I don’t try to be. It’s hard to be a teenage girl with the skinny models, the need for perfect hair, and to wear makeup. It’s hard enough to fit in without you and your friend there pointing out every flaw. I understand why he said those things. He only knew things about me through you. He’s an exchange student, so he would leave soon anyways. It’s ok though, I forgive you, too. I understand where you are coming from, your the ex-boyfriend. The entire staying friends idea, was funny wasn’t it? Joking around with each other is different than you and your friend talking about me. It hurt coming from you, but you had to play the part of the crappy ex-boyfriend. I’m not upset anymore and I’m not mad, I’m also not sorry. I’m not sorry for not dressing up and fixing my hair, and putting on makeup everyday just for you. If a guy can’t take me or any other girl with our hair up, no make up, and in a t-shirt and jeans, then I’m not sorry when we do look nice and they can’t have us.
