Whats the point?
I never really could figure out what the point of love in highschool is. You meet someone, fall in love and then when graduation comes, theyre gone.Highschool love is like a rubber band; lets see how far we can stretch each other before we snap and hurt each other. Love is part of being a teenager. I just wish i could skip that step all together. Its not worth the tears, stress and sleepless nights. Theyre just gonna leave come graduation. Now, if i could have a highschool sweetheart thatd be a different story. But nowadays, the chances of having that is like the chances you have to win the lottery. The problem with highschool relationships is that they dont hope for that love in the long run. Its like we know the relationship is set up for failure, but we continue it anyways. I think relationships should be saught after in college. Highschool should be a time for friends, sports and planning for your success in the future, not some little cry me a river, Taylor Swift inspired relationship. Highschool relationships; Whats the point?
