Cradle Robbing

We’ve all known that one person who has a thing for someone much older than them. Admit it
you judge them and say that its gross to like people so much older, but that’s exactly the type
of thing that we need to stop and avoid. Depending on how you view this topic on the so called
“cradle robbing” or you may know it as “Snatching “it can either be a big deal or not such a big
deal. The opinions on this topic aren’t really as looked into as you think mostly because of the
fact that some people don’t see it as a big issue; people think age is just a number. But before I
get started the term Cradle Robbing basically means having relations with a person who is
significantly older than you.

\You may ask why, be a little grossed out,or maybe you just don’t think It matters, but some
people see cradle robbing as a way for attention maybe even a way into the “lime light”. In my
opinion I feel that we should let people live the way they want to live and not judge them for
something as simple as this. There are several reasons someone could be a part of this type of
love. One could just be plain ol’ love to be honest.
-maturity could be one of the main factors
-the older of the two could be in denial of how old they are getting so they think by dating
someone younger will make them seem younger.
-make them think they look more attractive if they are dating someone much younger than
them.
-insecurities
Now there have actually been statistics on this topic. It is said that men who tend to date
women 7-20 years in age difference have healthier lives. 7-9years specifically have an 11%
chance to live longer than the average man. 17-19 years younger have a 20% chance to live
longer. Oddly enough it is the opposite for women. Anywhere between 15-17 years in
difference have a 30% chance that you will die earlier as a woman!

Recently I had just looked into a survey including 4000 people (women) and 50% percent said
that they wouldn’t mind dating someone 30 years older than them…7% said 60 years or older
was doable! Also in another survey known as the cupid survey universally it was shown that
men went directly to look for the younger women instead of the older women. Men tend to not
like to deal with the insecurities and like the fact that their spouse is younger and more capable
of taking care of them as they grow old.
The top 5 states with happily married couples with a 30 year age difference are…
-Oregon
-Hawaii
-Delaware
-Maine
And lastly Montana

What can I say about this topic other than people are drawn to these type of relationships (the
older and younger combination.)Look at Demi Moore age 42 and Ashton Kutcher age 27…that
was a whole 16 year difference! What about Nicolas Cage (40) and Alice Kim (19) or even the
Hugh Heffner age 87 and his newly wife Crystal Harris age 27!Not only in real life we see this
stuff but even when it comes to movies like “fireflies in the garden” starring Julia Roberts age
42 and Ryan Renolds age 34. And don’t forget about “the rebound” a movie specifically taking
about the older generations of women forgetting about what people think and going after the
young men they think that they deserve, that movie was starring Justin Bartha 34 and Catherine
Zeta Jones 43.

All in all this issue really doesn’t seem like an issue to me. Love is love maybe you can love that
person for the wrong reasons but honestly it’s their choice how they want to live their life. I
mean if they want to be known as a “sugar momma”, “sugar daddy” , “cougar “well it doesn’t
bother or affect me so I don’t see the issue as it should be the same with everyone else. And
hey! We don’t even know if one day we will be known as one of those things if you think about
it,so I think that if we think about things with that state of mind many people won’t have a
problem with dilfs or milfs or even cradle robbing. Here’s a fun fact each gender equally has the
desire to be with someone younger as their age increases.
