You think that's the life you want? Nah, think again!
"Don't put the key to your happiness in someone else's hands." "You're strong enough to go on with your life alone." "Don't let someone else capture your heart and hold you back." And many other quotes by so-called motivational speakers that make us unconsciously lose our faith in love and relationships, leading us to believe that being on your own beats anything! Okay so let's imagine this -you have you dream career in that company that you've always dreamed of working in, you completed your studies abroad in a top-ranked college and you're just as successful as you've always dreamed to be. A 'perfect' life? Think again! After a whole day of working non-stop, you go back to your luxurious two-story house that you live in alone. Yeah, according to all these motivational speakers and their quotes, you don't need a 'significant other' to be happy. You just need to pursue your dream career and practical goals and everything will be fine! But it's totally not fine. You're not happy. You look at all your married friends with envy, you just can't help feeling like a third wheel every time you hang out. Sure, their relationships have their ups and downs, but they have someone that actually cares about them. Someone to be proud of them when they achieve what you achieved. Someone to cheer them up, push them to go out there and snatch every opportunity. Someone to hold them in sleepless nights, I bet you don't like your empty bed sheets! So wake up from this nightmare, we're still young, we have our whole lives ahead of us and we still get to make the choice. The decision is all yours :)
