Trace Adkins once said something to the effect of, “There’s something you can’t avoid, ladies love country boys.” This quote is golden. It couldn’t be more accurate. Country boys are the best kind of boys to have in your life whether they’re just your friends or something more. They make the world go ‘round. Personally, any guy I’ve “talked” to or potentially dated and almost all of my best friends are country boys, so I know and have a good understanding of how great they are in comparison to other boys. After reading this list, maybe you’ll change your mind and find yourself a good country boy. When discussing country boys, there are some main topics that absolutely need to be talked about. Country boys are some of the most polite people you will ever meet.

They have that irresistible southern hospitality. When they are talking to someone, especially adults, they use the words “ma’am” and “sir” when addressing them. They always find it necessary to hold the door and allow others to go before them. They refuse to let you open and close your door when entering and exiting their truck. When you bring a country boy home to meet your loved ones, he will shake your parents’ hands along with any other family figure, especially the men of your family. A real country boy will take off his cowboy hat or ball cap when entering somewhere, maybe not every single place, but definitely in places like churches. Country boys are just so polite in every aspect, with the exception of when someone or something they love is threatened. You don’t find that a lot in today’s world.

Most country boys are extremely attractive, but you have to find the right ones.

Since most of them work on farms, they are really fit and have really toned, defined muscles from lifting things like hay bales all the time. If you don’t have an appreciation for muscles, then I don’t even know what to say to you. Along with the muscles, outside work a country boy usually wears a nice, plaid button up or flannel shirt (depending on the weather), nice jeans, a nice pair of cowboy boots, and a ball cap or cowboy hat. In my opinion, it just doesn’t get better than that. Work attire for a country boy is an old t-shirt, worn out jeans, work boots, and an old ball cap. That to me is like cookies to a fat kid. I just can’t resist. One thing to know about country boys is that they normally have two pairs of boots, one pair for working, and one pair to wear outside of work with their fancy, button up shirts. If he doesn’t have at least two pairs, then he’s not a real country boy. There’s just something about a country boy in his jeans and boots that drives a girl wild.

A real country boy drives a truck.

You know it’s real when he can spend hours describing not only the model and every detail of his truck, but every other truck known to man as well. There is just something about a cowboy in a nice truck. That is the most attractive thing ever. Watching a country boy, or better yet being in a truck with a country boy with his cowboy hat or ball cap on, driving down a backroad with the windows down, and country music blaring. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Country boys have the best idea of fun.

Some of the things that they do for fun are flying down back roads in their truck, going to the river, having or going to bonfires, going on long walks through the woods, exploring lots of beautiful, nature filled places, going to Bass Pro (Who doesn’t love Bass Pro?), going to the lake, fishing, going to rodeos, going to country music concerts, riding horses, and many, many other fun things. Spending your time with a country boy will give you so many amazing memories, way more so than any other guy could give you. With a country boy, there is no room for boredom and there is never a dull moment.
