What is it?
It's not just fake smiles and making it through the day. it's waking up every morning and forgetting for a moment that you don't have that person anymore. It's laying in your bed every night thinking about everything you could have done differently when deep down you know it wasn't your fault. It's the anger and the sadness and the regret. It’s waking up every night and you don't know why. It’s feeling that you can't ever be happy again and that nothing will be okay. And then one day you realize that you shouldn't regret something that once made you happy. You should embrace the experiences and the moments that you had. You learn to love deeper and to care more but most importantly you learn to forgive. You understand that there will always be apart of you that cares about apart of them and that you won't ever let that go but that's okay.
