Are Romeo and Juliet Truly in Love?
I believe the story of Romeo and Juliet is a story not of love, but of mere lust. The night Romeo met Juliet he was still in love with a girl named Rosaline. Earlier in the story, it was mentioned that Rosaline desired to become a nun, thus nullifying the possibility of a relationship between her and Romeo. Before Romeo met Juliet, he was still in a heart-broken state; he could not accept the facts that he cannot fall in love with his “love”, so I am assuming, the moment Romeo finds a beautiful looking girl at the party of the Capulet’s, he would welcome the escape from being heart broken and indulge himself to the lust of the flesh.

I felt like writing this up, because of my pure hatred for the lust of the flesh. Using the story, "Romeo and Jultiet" was a perfect example of infatuation/lust.
