Sibling Bond
Most kids look forward to finally moving out of their parent’s house and have freedom, but when they do, they end up missing everything they used to have. The thing I don't want to move away from and leave behind, even though I'll never admit it to them, is my brothers. I believe in having a bond with your siblings.
They can be annoying and rude most of the time, but they can also be fun. My two brothers and I have made many memories of the years. Most of them are weird, especially the ones with my little brother, Joel. I remember after we watched the first SpongeBob movie, we made a secret club called the Goofy Goober club. We dressed up in any winter clothes we could find. We chose winter clothes because it was never cold where we live, so it was unusual for us to wear. We even made a secret handshake. It turned out that nobody wanted to join our club, so we just ended up forgetting about it the next day.
With siblings, fights are forgotten all of the time. I've never had an argument with my brothers last more than two days. One time with my older brother, JJ, we tried to steal cookies from the kitchen when it was time for bed. He was about eight years old and I was six, so it seemed like a big deal at the time. My Uncle was babysitting is because my parents went to dinner. JJ and I snuck into the kitchen while he was in the living room. JJ climbed on top of the counter and tried to open the pantry. I was the look out so I would peep my head around the corner of the wall from time to time to make sure the coast was clear. JJ almost had the cookies but we knew we were busted when we heard the footsteps coming down the hall. JJ blamed me for us getting caught, until I shared my fruit snacks with him the next day.
Your siblings won't be with you forever. Take advantage of the time you have with them while you still can. If you don't then you won't have many memories to look back in and laugh about. Your love for each other will always be unconditional even if you don't show it.
