Jealousy
Jealousy Journal #11
Everyone gets jealous. That’s just how it is. From relationships to wanting what someone else has and hating them for having it. Jealousy is a poison. It seeps into the heart and eats away at any love you have for anything or for someone. When family gets jealous of one another it ruins everything. It ruins the family bond and love you should have and erodes away the gentle relationships you have with each other. Jealousy is a terrible thing because it causes people to do unthinkable things to each other. It causes people to harm others emotionally and physically, just because they want something another person has. It hurts me to see people be jealous and to watch people slowly tear each other apart.

I wrote this piece in my english class. I've watched my family get jealous of eachother, and my friends too. It hurts to see and in our daily journal I thought it was important to talk about jealousy. I hope people understand what jealousy does and to love what they have, not hate what they lack.
